OVER 400 ATTEND
‘TEMPLE STEET ANNUAL GALA BALL’
Over 400 people attended the Annual Gala Spring Ball in aid of Temple Street’s Children’s University Hospital at the Four Season’s Hotel, Ballsbridge.
All funds raised on the evening will to towards the redevelopment of the Intensive Care Unit which will include a new 4 bed Transitional Care Unit for children with long term ventilation needs.
The evening was a fantastic success and featured the wonderful Des Bishop who performed his duty as MC with great zest adding his unique sense of comedic style to the occasion and also encouraging the guests to help and support the hospital on the evening. The speeches were kept to a minimum and everyone had great fun and danced the night away to the swinging sounds of Route 66 – Big Band.
An interesting auction -with items such as a Larry Mullen’s pre tour rehearsal signed Drum Sticks, An exclusive place on the unique Route 66 Motorcycle Challenge, An adventure of a life time visiting the Temples of Cambodia, A diamond pendant from Appleby’s, to mention but a few – it is hoped that we will raise over €100,000 for this new unit.
Guests in attendance on the night were the American Ambassador, Attorney General Mr Rory Brady, Donal Spring, Mr Justice Peter Kelly, Joe Conlan and Q102’s Ray Shah to name but a few.
